iPhone Application for AlterGeo Geosocial Service

The updated version of the application provides additional information from AlterGeo database: using the iPhone camera you can find out about the location of your friends and places around you.

Popup messages appear on the image of the area you are in and tell you in which direction and how far the cafés, movie theatres, banks and registered users are located.

The application for the iPhone 3G uses a built-in compass, while other iPhone models are provided with a hand compass line to scroll.

Application features:

• positioning (coordinates determination) with the help of GPS, Wi-Fi or GSM network;
• possibility of sending an SMS message with a link to Google map location;
• possibility of marking interesting places on the map and posting comments;
• search of friends and other users of the network around you;
• online chat.
